JOB DUTIES (General):
- Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.
- Cook the exact number of items ordered by each customer, working on several different orders simultaneously.
- Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
- Measure ingredients required for specific food items being prepared.
- Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers etc.
- Prepare specialty foods following specific methods that usually require short preparation time.
- Read food order slips or receive verbal instructions as to food required by patron, and prepare and cook food according to instructions.
- Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity.
- Wash, cut, and prepare foods designated for cooking.
- Ensure quality of food and determine size of food proportions, work with minimal supervision , work with specialized cooking equipment.(deep fryer, etc)

REQUIREMENTS:
- At least High School Graduate / Technical course related to Cooking
- Or with a good number of years experience in a Medium/Large scale Restaurant or Hotels
- Basically 2-3 years experience (more desirable & an advantage)
- Fast paced environment, can work under pressure doing repetitive tasks
- Able to prepare a variety of appetizers, hamburgers, sandwiches, salads, chicken, steak, seafood and breakfast entrees, main dishes and main entrees as well as desserts
- Knowledgeable in various foreign dishes and preparation with normal menu features such as Cold kitchen (salads, appetizers, sandwiches), vegetables fruits, nuts and mushrooms, Hors d'oeuvres
